AI has always been artificial intelligence as in a replicate of what we see as human intelligence, VI is a better term of virtual intelligence it mimics an intelligence but cannot think itself.

It’s been seen so many times through history if the status quo is challenged find a scape goat. Every possible example can be seen, different religions, different skin colour, different political beliefs, different gender, different abilities, different sexuality, etc. As soon as power/money is threatened a different focus of hatred is found.
Makes sense, people are picking between food and utilities while the rich are going richer. People are getting arrested for opposing the evils of the world while being terrified of leaving their houses because actual crime is running rampant. Rascism, misogyny and otherisms are growing again.
