I visited NYC for a week for the first time in June and loved every second of it. So much to do and see so I was never bored. Insanely walkable and filled to the brim with public transit. There were times I got on the trains just to ride them cause I don’t have them where I live. If I ever move out of my garbage state, that’s pretty high on my wishlist of places to live if I can find a job that pays better than my current job ($25/hr for 45-50+ hours a week) and a 1 bedroom apartment that I could afford (best ones around me are $1k/month).

I have an insulated lunchbox. All I bring is a cheap frozen thing, a breakfast bar, and a drink (usually something like Gatorade, Body Armor, or Crisp Ice).

I went to work, then therapy, then home where I watched YouTube and napped. I didn’t want to work, but have to to keep living.

I adore watching movies. I own so many physically and don’t mind using streaming services (especially free ones like Kanopy). Just being taken to another world for a while or even learning a bit more about our own in documentaries is nice. Even if the movie sucks or is mid I’d still rather watch than keep 100% focus on life.

From what I’m seeing, I think it was “I’ll Make Love To You” by Boyz II Men

I saw an example recently of a segment that seemed to last like 3-5 minutes in the anime, but was 4 panels in the manga. I don’t even think it was the full page. Is the anime really that bad at pacing?

Conan I don’t even think has a goal anymore. Like it started with wanting to reverse the poison, but how often is that even addressed these days? It’s just a fun way to tell crime stories now.

It’s a survival instinct. Take your gun and other weapons away while still wearing the outfit and you’ll see everyone start calling you out since their life is less on the line.
