Changing jobs is stressful. You never know the shitshow you’re walking into, so I have to have a boss terrible enough that pretty much anything is a step up before I quit.

I’m from Michigan. DC has nothing on home. But the rare day off of work was nice. I hadn’t had a snow day since high school until I moved to DC.

Depends on your budget and lifestyle. If you want a single family home, you’re probably going to want to be in Stafford or further south unless your budget is high. If you want an apartment, you can get much closer. 95 fucking sucks and if you don’t have kids, I recommend an apartment closer. I left DC because I fucking hated 95.

You could maybe go west of DC, but I don’t know that area as well. It’s pricy, but nice. I don’t think I’d recommend Maryland, though I worked with a few people who lived there. Everything about getting from DC to Maryland sucks, and BWI sucks.

Rarely. DC is fairly temperate. It was actually a bit too hot for me in the summer, and there wasn’t much snow or ice in the winter. Shut everything down when there was but I think it was maybe a week a year.
