High crimes for sure, yet theres not a peep from congress about their role in oversight. Crickets from Schumer and Jeffries. There hasnt been any presidential oversight under either party. I think the solution is for people who aren’t on the Epstein-class payroll to run.
The efforts they go to to make voting more difficult shows that voting is still effective. The results we’ve seen recently show that the voters want to vote for someone who actually wants to do what they want.
How do we convince a normal person, a citizen, to give up their existence, disrupt everything, and run for office?

Why even bother voting anymore. Your best bet is to just vote for your local mayor and zoning board. You have a better chance of being heard there.

However, you are almost right about the solution. Grass roots is the way.
Do you know why we say grass roots? Because grass grows in its millions under the hooves and pounding feet of things far bigger and more powerful, it gets stepped on every day… Yet it thrives. It survives, because its roots grow together with its neighbours and form a tough, resilient layer.
Those big things die, and the grass eats their remains, and grows tall and green.
It means that we people have a different power than the wealthy. We have numbers, and if we make common cause, and weave community between us, we are incredibly strong.
Local mayor, local council, state rep, etc. Every lower office should be one of ours, and our movement should be present in the community, on the streets, helping people every day, giving them a personal reason to align with us, vote for our people, because they are their people too.
That’s how you build a movement strong enough to take over a country from the bad guys. It’s how we always have.

Funny, the Epstein probe launched in 2006 and again in 2018 and he was arrested in 2019. I forget who was president during those years…was it Biden? The funny thing here is blaming Biden is exactly the talking points Fox News and Trump want out there, and yet here we are with people still blaming them when Trump could have simply had this over and done with already, as he campaigned on and promised.

It is not easy to release the files, if the man is still alive and has all the powerful friends. It was different, when he was dead. And yes, Biden was president inbetween the two terms of his former best friend Trump. Why would Trump want to release the files? He has absolutely no reason to do so. Biden, on the other hand, would have had every reason to release them ASAP. And yet, nothing happened.

Well for starters it was under active investigation, and took a literal act of congress to release the files. This required a few Republicans to cross party lines to get them released, something they absolutely refused to do to give the Biden administration a win. To be clear, he absolutely could have done more and tried to pull some high road bullshit, but to pretend it’s the same as literally actively stopping the probes is fucking bonkers.
