    But the real question is: Is the sauna under the roof or in the basement?

      Buildings this old, there’s a good chance there’s no sauna at all! (Shocking, I know.)

      The picture is from an old working class part of town where there used to be public saunas instead, around just about every corner. I used to live in a building few blocks from here that shared a toilet between all households on the floor; needless to say, no sauna anywhere on the premises.

        Well, nothing wrong with a public sauna, just so long as it’s suitably close :)
