I mean, the real answer isn’t much better. “Because humans bred greyhounds to go fast, and bred pugs to have pug-noses”

Dogs are individuals, not representatives of the imaginary classes we call ‘breeds,’ and people are individuals, not members of the imaginary classes we call races.
Dog breeds have different behaviours.
The real pet racism is saying orange cats behave differently…
