• I’ve never had problems with losing my souls. Anger that is, past the initial loss. May have had to put it down for the day. Never enough to stop me from joyfully booting it up next time.

Also zero problem with others finding solutions that make the game more enjoyable. If duping souls is fun for you, or leads to a fun outcome, fuck yeah we ball

That being said I am a bit of an asshole who will pick mechanics I find “cheaty” like magic and just ignore them. But that’s my fun. Let’s sl1

    • Once I have found a broken combo strat the only escape from an addictive game (vampire survivors, don’t look up how to farm golden eggs if you want to keep the game fun, but it’s an escape hatch from the game)

    • SL1 builds used to be so much fun before the remaster. Invasions used to be level-based; invaders would never be more than 10% above the hosts level. So, at SL1 you can invade literally anyone and everyone but you never knew if the host was level 1 or 100.

Sometimes gear would give you the advantage, sometimes the host had the same gear but was 100 levels higher and one-shot you. You never knew what you were gonna get until the swords and spells started flying.

The remaster bases it on weapon level now, which is lame af for many, many reasons, but mostly because magic users will always have a +0 weapon since catalysts can’t be upgraded.
