      So basically the usa, canada and germany solutions, huh?

      What I find funny about this solution is that if people im the Global South start having access to birth controls, sterilizations and abortions at the same rates that peoole in the global north do…this solution stops working forever. Because there are mant Global South countries reporting a slowing down in sex and birth rates like India, China, Thailand, even places in Africa too!

      AND THEN these leaders eould be forced to confont the truth that we HAVE to improve the lives of the workers if they ever want us to start reproducing at the same rates that we did when the birth control pill started to become common for most consumers. Even with access to the birth control pill most people with uteri STILL chose to eventually bear children…uh… things are much different nowadays.

      Its funny that they keep on and keep on kicking the can down the road and that we keep on letting them do so …when we can just grab the can and create an Eternal Solution and create a world and economies that works solely for the happiness, communities , and resources that the workers need. We oughta grab hold of the ’ means of reproduction’ and make them work for the very people who make societies work.

        usually 2 things are enough to give couples pause from having children, COL and job security. religious people are having it regardless if thier children come out alright or not.

    Every Singaporean I’ve ever met has their entire life together like a superhuman. If they aren’t having children, I don’t believe for a second that it’s not a conscious, well-considered decision.

      You essentially have to have a conscience decision to not have children. The external pressures are immense. Not to mention biological drives. It takes effort. Im not sure there is a fix they want to implement.

    It’s always the same with these people…

    Me and my partner met just fine without a government sanctioned dating app.

    We don’t want children.

    Not least because of the horrific state of the world.
